Terms of Supply

Thanks for visiting us at Garden of Eden Coffee

We’ve set out some useful information to help you find your way to placing an order of delicious coffee, creating a subscription, or just browsing through our pages of great coffee products. If you are under the age of 18, you should use this website only with the supervision of an adult. To purchase anything from the GOE coffee range, payment must made with the permission of a responsible adult.

Ordering from GOE Coffee

To place an order on the GOE Coffee website you can easily and quickly check out as a guest.

You will need to create an account if you want to set up a subscription or gift a subscription to someone else. Creating an account also means you’ll be able to hear about our offers, discounts and new product launches.

We will only take a payment from you when you place an order or set up your subscription order. You can also manage your payment details and subscription frequency by logging into your account (see ‘Managing Account’ below for more details’)

You can create an account during the checkout process if you don’t already have one setup. To set up a subscription or gift subscription just log into your account and follow the simple steps on our website. If you encounter any problems, we’re happy to help. Please email [email protected] or call us on 01892 611180. If we’re unable to answer when you ring, please leave a voice mail and we will return your call.

When you create your account, please ensure;

  • The details you submit are accurate including postal address and all the required fields are completed.
  • Don’t share your account details with anyone else.
  • Keep your user name and password safe and that you regularly update your password.
  • Contact us immediately if you feel your GEO Coffee account has been accessed by anyone other than you. If an unauthorised purchase is already in transit prior to you telling us of a suspected breach of your account, we cannot accept liability or responsibility for that purchase.
 

Remember to change your password regularly and keep your account details up to date.

Managing your Account

After logging into your account, you can manage your details, subscriptions and orders. You’ll have the ability to pause a subscription if needed, change your card details, edit your address or contact details.

You can terminate your account at any time. We would be sad to see you leave us so if there is anything you are unhappy about please do take the time to share this with us by emailing [email protected]. We’ll do everything we can to help.

Any orders that have not been despatched at the time of cancellation will be stopped and you will be refunded any monies owed. Please allow several business days for the money to appear back in your account.

GOE Coffee also reserves the right to terminate a customer’s account without providing a reason. Although this is very unlikely to happen, if your account is terminated, we will notify you by email.

Where either party terminates an account, any pending orders on your account will still be despatched and you will still be liable for payment other than by the expressed consent of the GOE Coffee Team. 

Refunds

You can cancel an order in the ‘my account’ section of the GOE website.  If purchases are cancelled prior to dispatch, you will receive a full refund including the postage.

Please remember once you place an order we despatch quickly to meet our service pledges. If your order is cancelled, but it is already in transit, you will be liable for the postage costs including the cost of returning the item to GOE.

You will find all the information you need about your order on your delivery note.

GOE Coffee products

GOE makes every effort to ensure all product descriptions and images are aligned to the products we despatch. GOE is not responsible for any variations in taste, since Coffee is a natural product and as nature intended!  However, every effort is put into our quality control process to ensure product descriptions match the finished coffee product.  

We love to receive feedback about the great taste of our coffee so please use the review panel on our website to leave us a message.

From time to time, certain blends of the most popular GOE coffee may be out of stock and we make no assurances or warrants that all or any of our stock lines are available 24/7. GOE manages its stock availability via the website. If you see an item out of stock, why not try a different blend? Or simply check back in later and process your order when stock is available.

Pricing

Pricing is correct at the time of checkout. GOE reserves the right to alter or amend prices & allow the use of discount codes from time to time. Discounts are offered at the sole discretion of GOE and we reserve the right to withdraw discounts at any time. 

Our coffee prices do not include VAT.

Our postal charges are set out on the website and are really simple. Often we will despatch the next working day or even the same working day if possible.  However, we will ensure every order is despatched within 3 working days and treated with the same care and respect regardless of whether this is your first time ordering our GOE coffee or whether you are a long term coffee lover and subscriber to GOE coffee.

We regret that we do not ship international orders.

Carriage Charges.

All of our coffee is dispatched by courier or Royal Mail . We charge a set fee of £3.95 each time an order of  coffee is delivered to your door.

Receiving your Order

Immediately after your order is placed you will receive an order confirmation email. Once your order has been despatched, you’ll receive a confirmation of despatch by email.

You can check the status of your order through the ‘my account’ section of the website. Remember to log into your account. All our orders are tracked and your unique tracking and order number will allow you to check the estimated delivery times with our courier.   

Once the goods are delivered, you have 24 hours in which to notify us of any problems with your order.  Otherwise, we will assume your order has been received in good condition and is as you correct. Please contact us at [email protected] or call us on 01892 611180 within 24 hours of delivery if you receive your order in less than top condition.

Returning an item(s)

Here at GOE we pride ourselves on our quality standards with regard to product and service. We do acknowledge however that there are occasions when you may need to return an unwanted or damaged item.

Our return Policy is set out below.

GOE will replace free of charge any item received damaged, providing you notify us within 24 hours of delivery and provide us with a description of the damage and in some cases we may require a photo so that we can speak to our couriers.

If you receive an item that doesn’t match the item ordered please notify us within 24 hours of delivery and we will arrange for return and replacement.  You will also be given the option of a refund including any postage fees you have paid providing the incorrect item wasn’t part of a multiple order.    

If you change your mind about an item, you have ordered after it has been despatched or following delivery, you may still be required to pay for the item.

GOE reserves the right to refuse a refund or exchange without the proper notification as set out in these terms. Nothing in these terms will affect your statutory rights.

When leaving a review or requesting a sample.

When using any response forms on the GOE website please respect the following rules:

Please use appropriate language, our GOE Coffee Team are always here to help you with your enquiry and will show you mutual respect.

GOE reserves the right to monitor all communications made to us or using our website forms.

GOE will retain copies of your communication so we can check in with you, and make sure your order, your delivery or your enquiry is being dealt with in accordance with our high standards of customer service.

Please be aware that any information you send to us through our website forms or processes, for example reviews and feedback, may be modified by us in and you agree to waive your right to be identified as the author of such information

We will never sell your data to a third party.

Please keep your personal details secure.

We will never call you about payments or ask for your bank details over the phone. If you receive such a call claiming to be from GOE coffee, do not give out your details and please call our customer service team who will look into this for you.
